Looking for a new garage door? You’ll no doubt have a few questions. Touch base with the Garage Door Company. We have the answers.
Do you repair existing garage doors?
Yes, we do. If your current garage door is faulty, damaged or no longer operating as it should, we can arrange for a qualified engineer to inspect it and advise on the most suitable repair solution. The process is straightforward: simply get in touch with one of our garage door centres in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Kilmarnock or Dundee, or email us a couple of clear photographs of the issue. Once we have assessed the condition of your door, we will recommend the best course of action to restore it to proper working order.
Do you charge for quotations?
No, we don’t charge for quotes. All surveys are carried out free of charge, and every quotation we provide is entirely without obligation. You can request a survey from the garage door centre closest to your home, and one of our friendly team members will visit at a convenient time. After the survey, we will send you a detailed quote outlining your options.
Will you remove my old garage door?
Absolutely. When we install a new garage door, we are more than happy to take away your old one at the same time. We ensure that all removed doors are disposed of responsibly. This service helps to make the installation process hassle-free.
How secure are your garage doors?
Security is a key consideration in our range. Many of our garage doors are fitted with robust locking systems and additional security features. We also supply specialist high-security garage doors designed to offer enhanced protection and peace of mind.
Will a new garage door add value to my property?
Installing a high-quality garage door can certainly boost the value of a home. Modern options such as electric automated doors or roller garage doors are particularly attractive to house buyers.
Can I paint my existing garage door?
It is possible to repaint an older garage door, provided it is thoroughly prepared and the correct type of paint is used. That said, many customers find that replacing the door altogether is a simpler and more cost-effective option. New doors are available in a wide range of colours and finishes, dispensing with the effort involved in painting an old door.
Can my current garage door be insulated?
While insulation can be added to existing garage doors, the process can be labour-intensive and doesn’t always deliver the desired results. We offer a selection of attractively priced, fully insulated garage doors that provide far better performance.
